Originally from Concepción, Chile, Daniel has lived in several countries like New Zealand, UK, USA and of course Chile.

His first time in Germany was back in 2017, when he came to study German for 3 months. He decided to move to Germany in 2019 to pursue a Master’s Degree at HHL Leipzig.

Daniel loves adventure, getting to know new cultures and going out of the comfort zone. He practices sports, always thinks about new business ideas and loves traveling.

As a one of the co-founders of My Expat Life he wants to get to know stories of different expats living in Germany, create content, give you finance tips and valuable insights to everyone living here!

Born and raised in New York City, Alejandro’s first experience of Germany was in the summer of 2009 then during his exchange year in 2010-2011.

He fell in love with Leipzig (before it was hype-zig) and decided to come back in 2017 to build a life in Europe. Alejandro believes the lifestyle in Europe allows for people to take better care of their mental health and just live more deeply and fully.

He loves writing about philosophy, psychology, business, and how the three can come together to increase the quality of life. As a co-founder of My Expat Life, he is primarily responsible for content research, creation and soon, the podcast!

Aum is an expatriate who fell in love with Leipzig upon his arrival in March 2023.

With a rich background in the startup world, having been a core team member of two successful ventures over the last 7-8 years, Aum is now channeling his entrepreneurial spirit into creating "My Expat Life."

He aims to assist fellow expats by offering practical insights, cultural guidance, and a supportive community providing a lifeline for those navigating the challenges of living abroad.

His story in Leipzig is just beginning, promising a tapestry woven with connection and community.
